Karyn has been in the beauty industry over 25 years. Finishing high school early and heading straight to Beauty School in Eugene, she was behind the chair shortly after turning 18.

She married her husband Dan in1985, they have 2 children, David and Kiffany who are now in their 20’s. After taking several years off to “ be there” for her kids. She jumped back behind the chair and has been at Apollo since 1999.

Karyn attends bi-annual educational events regularly and most recently the Educational Summit by the American Board of Certified Hair Colorists.

While feeling that continued education is extremely important, Karyn has the philosophy that there is more than just science involved in the perfect style for you. Interpersonal relationships are one of her core beliefs and very few people leave her chair as just a client. She prefers to have tons of friends; unfortunately she has to charge them to make the mortgage payment.

Karyn provides exceptional service for men, women and children, with beautiful results. Specializing in color, perms, highlights, cuts and style to provide fresh new ideas and knowledge that can be incorporated with timeless styles to provide an exciting and yet “do-able” style for everyone.

Karyn believes that everyone should be able to make their own hair look “Just as good everyday, as if they had just left the salon.”
